Fire and Smoke Technician Course

This 2 day course is designed to certify students under the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). You will be presented with all of the basic concepts and systems of the restoration process. Areas covered include,  how to clean soot and other contaminants from contents and structures. You will be instructed on how to perform deodorization for smoke contaminated air spaces, contents and structures. Also included will be how to safely use specialty restoration chemicals, supplies and equipment. Finally, you'll learn how to perform a content move successfully.

Optional IICRC Exam for FST Course
The IICRC exam will be held on the last day of the FST Course, The exam fee is $50 USD. Credit card (Visa, MC, AmEx), cash, and cheque (payable to the IICRC) are accepted. Ensure the cheque states “Payable in US funds”. Registration conducted on-site, prior to the administration of the exam. Exam results will be issued by IICRC. Credit: 2 CECs
