Head Immobilizer for Spine Board. This universal head immobilizer is orange. It is easy to use and compatible with most spine boards. It features side blocks with wide velcro closures, allowing for a snug fit. The unit has two head supports and ear openings to allow access to check for fluid drainage and to allow the patient to hear verbal responses. The base plate has Velcro on top for positioning the head supports on the spine board. It comes complete with two straps to keep patient's head in place and to provide lateral support.
Compatible with most types of wood, plastic, aluminum spine board or scoop-style stretcher. It has no metal components and can be worn during X-ray, MRI, or CT scan procedures. It is waterproof and buoyant so it is perfect for water rescue. Easy to clean and disinfect for reuse. Made with the highest grade of foam with a vinyl costing for lasting durability.
